                Biography of Bill Gates William Henry Gates was born on 28 October 1955, in Seattle, Washington. As the principal founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates is one of the most influential and richest people on the planet. Recent estimates of his wealth put it at US$84.2 billion (Jan. 2017); this is the equivalent of the combined GDP of several African economies. In recent years he has retired from working full time at Microsoft, and has instead concentrated on working with his charitable foundation “The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.” His father William Gates Sr was a senior lawyer, and his mother, Mary, served as an executive for a major bank. The family were wealthy but, remembering the challenges of the Great Depression, they encouraged their children to work hard and take nothing for granted. Today I will give you one recomendation place for recreation! Barcelona Spain’s  second city   is an eternal favourite with visitors due to its stunning Mediterranean location, iconic architecture and cosmopolitan atmosphere. Go gaga for  Gaudí  at the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell, and check out some of the architect’s lesser-known works such as Casa Batlló. Make the trip up to Mount Tibidabo for sparkling views across the city to the sea beyond; rollercoaster lovers should visit the  Tibidabo Amusement Park , opened in 1905, while the mountain is also a great place to cycle or hike.

  Monas President Sukarno was a man who dreamed big—with the Monas, he wanted a memorial to the struggle for independence that would last for the ages. With the help of architects Frederich Silaban (designer of the Istiqlal Mosque) and R.M. Soedarsono, Sukarno envisioned the towering monument as a symbiosis of multiple auspicious symbols. Hindu imagery is present in the Monas' design, as the cup-and-tower structure resembles a  lingga  and  yoni . The numbers 8, 17, and 45 hearken back to August 17, 1945, the date of Indonesia's proclamation of independence—the numbers manifest themselves in everything from the height of the tower (117.7 meters/386 feet) to the area of the platform it stands on (45 square meters/148 square feet), even down to the number of feathers on a gilded Garuda sculpture in the Meditation Hall (eight feathers on its tail, 17 feathers per wing, and 45 feathers on its neck)!
